Kroger and Shop & Share
Kroger and Shop & Share: A Kentucky Giving Tradition.
This single event helps stock your local domestic violence shelter’s pantry for the year ahead, and since 2008, Shop & Share has raised over $5 million in cash and in-kind donations.
Shop & Share is an annual, one-day event benefitting the shelter pantries of Kentucky’s regional domestic violence programs.
Put on in partnership with the First Lady of Kentucky, ZeroV, Kroger, and other regional grocers, Shop & Share is an opportunity for members of the community to give back to one of Kentucky’s most vulnerable populations: survivors of domestic violence and their children.
During Shop & Share, Kroger shoppers are encouraged to “Shop” for what they need and “Share” an item (or a few) with their local domestic violence shelter.
Through the generous donations of grocery store shoppers, our domestic violence programs are able to stock their pantries with nonperishable food, personal care items, baby products, and more for the year ahead.
