ZeroV is the statewide coalition dedicated to creating safe lives and thriving futures for survivors of intimate partner violence and their children in Kentucky. We believe that a world safe for survivors is safe for everybody and, as a Kentucky united against violence, our work will persist until the violence in our state is ZERO.

Mandatory Education and Referral Information for Professionals
Kentucky’s Law on Mandatory Education and Referral for Domestic and Dating Violence KRS Chapter 209A was enacted to identify victims of domestic and dating violence and abuse, to link victims to services and to provide protective or therapeutic services for those who choose to accept them.
Kentucky has 15 designated shelter programs that provide state-mandated services to all 120 counties in the Commonwealth
It’s not ok
that Kentucky is ranked 16th in the nation for the number of women who experience contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking in their lifetime with an associated intimate partner violence (IPV)-related impact.

that over 70% of survivors identify access to money as a barrier to leaving.

that IPV survivors are five times as likely to become dependent on substances.
