ZeroV Statement: Changes to Domestic Violence Services in the Lincoln Trail Area Development District
"SpringHaven, Inc., the ZeroV member program serving the Lincoln Trail Area Development District, will be closing effective June 30, 2026, due to financial instability. ZeroV recognizes this is a difficult time for the organization, its clients, and the larger community, and is working to support SpringHaven as it winds down operations.
SpringHaven has served the Lincoln Trail Area Development District for 40 years. During that time, the organization has made a tremendous positive impact on the lives of thousands of survivors and their children. ZeroV is grateful to SpringHaven’s staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners for their four decades of dedication to supporting and empowering survivors of domestic violence. Countless adults and children have found safety, healing, and a new beginning because SpringHaven was there for them in their time of need. This is a legacy to be proud of.
During this transition, ZeroV is working alongside SpringHaven to ensure the continuity of services for current clients and minimize service disruptions in the Lincoln Trail area. Local communities can rest assured that survivors will continue to have access to essential domestic violence services through ZeroV member programs in neighboring area development districts, including the Barren River Area Safe Space in Bowling Green, The Center for Women and Families in Louisville, Bethany House in Somerset, and GreenHouse17 in Lexington.
In the long-term, ZeroV seeks to work with community partners in the Lincoln Trail area to determine the best path forward for domestic violence services in the region. Full details about the transitional service plan will be made available at ZeroV.org by July 1, 2026."Tisha Pletcher, ZeroV CEO
