At ZeroV, your privacy matters. This SMS Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you communicate with us via text message (SMS). 

What We Collect 

  • When you opt in to receive SMS messages from ZeroV, we may collect: 
  • Your mobile phone number 
  • Your name, if provided 
  • Message content you send or receive 
  • The date, time, and frequency of those messages 

We do not collect your location or payment details via SMS. 

How We Use SMS Information 

We only use your SMS-related information to: 

  • Share appointment reminders and service updates 
  • Coordinate housing support and document follow-ups 
  • Provide time-sensitive information from your advocate or case manager 

We will never use text messages for marketing purposes. 

Who Has Access to Your Information 

We do not sell or rent your mobile number or SMS data. 
Your information may only be shared with: 

  • Authorized ZeroV staff providing services to you 
  • Technology vendors who help us deliver secure SMS messages (such as Microsoft Teams Phone), and only as needed to provide the service 

All staff and vendors are bound by strict confidentiality and data protection requirements. 

Your Choices 

  • You can opt out at any time by texting STOP. 
  • To get help, text HELP or reach out to your ZeroV staff contact. 
  • You may also call or email us directly using the information below. 

Data Retention 

  • We retain SMS records only as long as necessary for service coordination, case documentation, and to comply with our funders’ requirements. All data is securely stored. 

Security 

  • ZeroV protects all client information, including SMS communications. We use secure systems and restrict access to authorized staff only.
